Frequently Asked Questions

How much does it cost?

Let’s face it...very often the deal breaker on a project is the price the service is going to cost you. Therefore, I want to address this issue up front. In general, I charge by the hour on projects (my hourly rate is $65) but occasionally will consider quoting a job for a flat fee. I like to work with you to determine a budget that is acceptable to you. I do everything within my power to stay within your budget while still providing you with a quality end product.

What about the initial consultation...is there a charge for that?

There is no charge for the initial consultation. I prefer to meet with my new clients, spend some time getting to know them, get a feel for their expectations and set the terms for the project including budget, due dates, etc. I start charging when I sit down at the computer to begin designing.

Do I have to pay for my project up front?

In general, no. The exception to this rule would be the following circumstance: I am contracted by a new client with whom I have no previous business dealings for a complicated job that will require a substantial investment of time. Since I have no previous working relationship with that client, I would require partial payment up front.

When is payment due? What forms of payment do you accept?

Payment is due upon receipt of the final product whether that be print-ready files or actual printed materials. Currently, I accept cash or checks. While I do not accept credit cards at this time, I am looking into it for the future. In the mean time, I could accept payment through paypal if necessary.

How do I know I will get quality service from you?

I built my business by providing my clients with quality service in a timely manner. Take a look at my testimonial page for some insight into the working relationship I have with them. In addition, I would be happy to provide you with references that you can contact directly.
